In the higher strata of devil society, owning a vierhaander is a sign of status. These gangly, leather skinned creatures were bred to serve Hell's nobility. Two hands were judged insufficient to accomplish this task, so the vierhander has four. They serve as jesters and whipping boys to the infernal lords.
