Named in Buddhist texts, considered the embodiment of death, Mara is of many forms; appearing as a mass of tentacles and mouths one moment and a well-dressed businessman the next. He is often surrounded by hordes of lesser demons. Wherever he goes he surrounds himself with the finest and most expensive of things. His favorite pastime is the leading of good people down the parth of corruption by tempting them with power.
