Created by the Crown of Horns, these are intelligent undead but are entirely under the control of their creator. They drain life and vitality from their surroundings, seeking out wizards and worshipers of Mystra to slay if not given direct orders. Greater shadowrath are those also slain by Myrkyl's hand, another artifact. They retain their appearance as they were in life but are filled with negative energy rather than muscle, bone, and organs.
