Scorpionlike creatures that move upon a dozen legs and are covered with shiny obsidian carapaces. Its tail ends in a lamprey's mouth. These creatures are quite intelligent and known to be great appreciators of music; they are also fond of encasing victims to their neck in stone so that they are forced to listen to the stonesinger's song.
