Appearing as a jagged lump of ice surrounded by a nimbus of cold blue fire and made mobile by several thin tendrils. They are living manifestations of the shards of the ancient deity Hleid, who landed in the polar seas after being struck down by her nemesis Iborighu. They use their powers to carve complex networks of tunnels and chambers within iceburgs, then places guardians and traps within to protect itself.
