When a spirit is unable to leave its body upon death, it becomes known as a Fell creature. A faengral is what an ungral becomes when it fails to feed regularly. Their mind has begun to deteriorate and eventually it succumbs to the dark desires that drive it to feed. This template can be added to any corporeal creature with an Intelligence score of 5 or more other than an undead.
