Feral dragons exist as pale reflections of true dragons in the way that apes are to humankind. Others are degenerate descendents of dragons as they existed in an older age. They are rapacious and voracious who hunt anything they can for even the smallest amount of treasure. This inherited template can be added to any true dragon.
