Powerful dog-like quadrupeds with a sleek hide, bony plates which cover its head, and a patch of long tentacles which ring their neck like a lion's mane. Two of their tentacles end in human-like hands. They are aggressive hunters which are sometimes trained by illithids, drow, and neogi.
