A fur-covered bipedal creature with a hunched back, red eyes, a mouth of sharpened teeth, and flexible rows of spines running down its back. They are bloodsuckers that lurck on the fringes of society, emerging at night to drain the blood of warm-blooded creatures. Rumors have it that some chupacabras possess wings. Note: Dragon#343 lists these as CR3, usually neutral evil monstrous humanoids with similar blood draining abilities.
