Mind flayers of Thoon are those which traveled into the Far Realm and were changed by their experiences there. Now returned, they live a twisted existence different from other mind flayers. Soldiers are biped machines covered in armored plates, creatures which move smoothly with a liquid bubbling sound. Thoon soldiers are able to alter their bodies to adapt to changing combat situations.
