Lhovaar's Scimitar The blade of this deadly scimitar is a flowing river of red hot lava,
contained by magic into the shape of a sharp scimitar. It has a special
sheath made of fireglass into which it can be safely sheathed, any other
items carelessly contacting the blade instantly suffers 2d6 points of fire
damage. For the following 1d3 rounds the subject continues to burn,
suffering an additional 1d6 points of fire damage per round. These
additional damage dice are not cumulative with other additional burning
damage dice.
Additionally, 3 times per day, the wielder of this
blade may attempt a touch attack against an opponant's armor. On a successful
hit the armor is affected as though by a heat metal spell
The sword is named after the warrior Lhovaar, who
slew and took the blade from a demon. The blade is slightly heavier than most
scimitars because of the lava which makes up most of its substance.
