You and one other spellcaster gain the ability to share spells which you have memorized. You may cast spells memorized by the other spellcaster which are already part of your spell casting repertoire. These spells function for all purposes as if the spell energy originated from you. You can only combine your powers with a spellcaster that uses the same method of spellcasting. Thus a Wizard and a Sorcerer cannot share power, nor can a Sorcerer and Greater Path mage share power. A spellcaster participating in one mage-link is unable to participate in another at the same time.
Both Sorcerers and Greater Path mages are able to combine their available daily allotment of spell casting ability. Thus if you can cast five 1st-level spells and the other spellcaster can cast three 1st-level spells then there are eight 1st-level spells available to you and the other spellcaster. Spells that you cast are drawn from your own reservoir of power first and then that of the other spellcaster.
You and the other spellcaster must both cast this spell in tandem, joining hands as you do so. Once the link has been established you may travel any distance from each other as long as both of you remain on the same plane of existance. You or the other spellcaster may end your participation in the mage-link at anytime merely by willing it to be so.
