Warding Stones These tablets are usually round, like a discus, and typically have one or more
simple shapes carved into their surface. Each can be used once to suppress a
specific type of persistent magical effect, such as illusions or
transmutations. The effect surpressed cannot have an instantaneous duration.
Any magical effect within 20 feet of the tablet,
of the appropriate type for the tablet, and presently active at the time of
the tablets activation (by touch and a command word) is immediately suppressed.
The suppression lasts until the tablet is physically moved, but is otherwise
indefinite. Magical effects created in the area affected by the tablet after
its activation are not affected.
