Full Plate of the Lord and Laborer Once the prize armor of Hagar, Thurbardaine of Mithrilguard, this dwarven crafted
Adamantine Full Plate +5 grants a +4 enhancement bonus to Strength and Charisma,
and the wearer gains the benefits of the Leadership feat. Anyone wearing the armor
who already has the Leadership feat instead gains the ability to radiate an aura
of courage which grants a +8 morale bonus on saving throws against fear effects
to all allies within 30 feet. Due to its adamantine materials and dwarven construction
the armor grants 3/- damage reduction.
Finally, should the wearer of the armor undertake a
task requested by a being of lesser station or position in society, they may enlist
the aid of any intelligent creature as though by the lesser gaes spell. The
wearer may enlist any number of creatures, so long as their HD do not exceed twice
his character level. The wearer may attempt to enlist a given creature only once
per quest undertaken. A Will save (DC = 16 + wearer’s Charisma modifier) allows a
creature to resist being enlisted. Enlisted creatures improve their attitude towards
the wearer of the armor by two ranks (hostile, unfriendly, indifferent, friendly,
helpful) for as long as the quest lasts. Creatures affected by the beguilement recall
their natural allegiances once the task has been completed, but may choose to
treat the wearer of the armor differently, depending on how they have been treated
during the quest.
