Portable Portal This device resembles a square sheet of cloth, however when unfolded and spread
wide it functions as a portal to another plane of existence. The "cloth"
resembles material from the destination plane. Thus a portable portal to
the Elemental Plane of Fire might resemble a flickering sheet of fire. When
folded, the device may be carried about with ease. Portable portals are usually
eight by eight feet in size. Though one end of this portal, that of the cloth,
may be moved about to many locations, its destination is always the same
location. The device otherwise functions exactly like the gate spell. A
portable portal does not function when employed on the same plane as its
destination.
