Lightning Caller Once per hour, upon a successful attack, and only beneath a cloudy sky, this
shortsword will summon a lightning bolt down from the cloudy heavens and
channel the electrical energy into the victim of the attack. This effect is
not controlled by the wielder. It deals 1d6 points of damage to the wielder
of the sword as the lightning is channeled through his body and the sword into
his enemy, but does 9d6 points of damage to the enemy who was thus struck by
the shortsword. A fortitude save (DC 15) is allowed for half damage. Creatures
of one hit die or less are disintegrated (or exploded depending upon the DM's
tastes) upon a successful lightning attack with this sword.
