This young and beautiful lass was met by the party (Travels with Bolas) while they lay in quarantine after doing battle with a werebeast. Through the bars of the parties prison, she told them her sad story of how her father meant to wed her to an evil man by the name of Jacanos, when the man who she truly loved, Dr. Domini, was who she wanted to be with. Having learned of the parties prowess, she pleaded with them to retrieve an ancient family heirloom, the Crown of Soldiers (later known as the Crown of Souls) from the witch Radaga and deliver it to Domini so that he could present it to her father, Lord Kartekast, and earn his favor so that they might marry.
    The party agreed to help her and met her upon numerous occasions until her father learned of the plot and revealed to the group the evil curse which the Crown possessed which Domini would use to destroy him. Akriel was not seen again after that. Her father says that she had become afflicted with lycanthropy and he keeps her safely guarded and away from all visitors until he can find a cure for her terrible malignance.
