Lothar is a spy for the covert assassin's guild in Garret. He works as a gardener at the church of Chishleen, where he was taken in. The church hopes to reform Lothar and takes pity on him for his crippling wounds which he received during the time of the Black Scourge. He walks with a limp and his face is terribly mangled. Lothar prefers to stay out of public view. He seems to take unusual pleasure in dead-heading flowers. Lothar sleeps in the gardeners shed on the church grounds.
