Martin is a member of a retired adventuring group which called the town of Garret (located one and one-half days south of Hawkydin, on the north bank of the Hawath River). He can often be found at the Inn of Abraham. Saddened by events of his past he has slipped into depression and spends most of his evenings at the in, drinking himself into a stupor in the company of Peska the Fool.
    He is a large man, standing more than 6 feet tall. He has short brown hair and a full beard. He often wears a suit of light leather armor and he carres his shillelagh staff of oak with him at all times. His hound, 'Wolf,' sleeps on the porch of the inn while he drinks within.
