The touched object begins to slowly disintegrate, suffering 5d6 points of damage for each round remaining in the spell. Using this spell against a creature requires a successful touch attack. The damage caused by this spell is continuous, making it difficult for the target creature to concentrate on delicate tasks such as spellcasting. You may hold this spell as a charge, but each round you do so counts towards its duration.
