You cause a group of creatures to have recurring nightmares which are both physically and mentally taxing. All targets of the spell must be both within range and in the same 50 ft. by 50 ft. area. You may affect any number of creatures, provided their total hit dice does not exceed 1 hit die per caster level. Target creatures who fail a Will save instantly fall to the ground in a deep sleep. Their sleep is not restful though, but plagued with nightmarish hallucinations. For each day that the target creatures are affected by this spell they suffer one point of temporary ability damage to their intelligence, wisdom, and charisma. Victims of the spell can only be awakened by a dispel magic or an wake spell.
Material Component: A fistful of raven feathers. Toss these in the direction of the target creatures you wish to affect. They are consumed in the casting of the spell.
