In a blinding burst of flame, you instantly transport yourself from your current location to any other spot within range. You always arrive exactly at the location desired - whether by simply visualizing the area or by stated direction and distance. You can bring objects along as long as their weight doesn't exceed your maximum load.
If you arrive in a place already occupied by a solid body, you take 1d6 points of damage and are shunted to the nearest open space on a suitable surface within range of the spell. If there is no such available space, you take an additional 1d6 points of damage and the spell fails.
Each creature adjacent to you when you cast this spell must make a Reflex saving throw which, if failed, permanently blinds the creature and causes 5d6 points of fire damage. Creatures who successfully save suffer half-damage and are not blinded.
A similar, though less powerful and non-damaging pyre of flame announces your arrival at your destination.
