For each physical melee attack made upon you, your attacker must make a Fortitude save or suffer the same damage that it has inflicted upon you. Further, the attacker suffers a -2 penalty on their next attack against you. Subsequent attacks on your person by the same creature elicit additional saving throws. Penalties to attacking you gained from failed Fortitude saves are cumulative and last until the end of this spell.
