These appear as withered, tristed old trees bearing fruit that looks vaguely like human head howling in pain. They slowly corrupt their environment, blighting other plant life near them until the bitter tree becomes the only source of edible material in the area. Any creature which eats of the trees succulent fruit becomes enamored with the tree and eventually is transformed into an infernal creature.
