Once deva like beings who devoted themselves to arcane arts and were changed, now mysterious patrons to arcanists, now serving magic rather than higher powers. The valiance are virtuous and kind, yet extremely serious. They appear as tall, thin, regal-looking humans with wings that resemble streams of light.
