Flying predators that hunt in darkness and feed on fresh blood. They are unrelated to the common stirge. They appear as a hairless, rat-tailed flying beast equipped with raking fangs and four bony wing-like projecting horns. They are common in Kara-Tur, steppes, plains and deserts that lie wst of the Eastern Realms.
