Arrayed in brightly colored clothes, these rotting humanoids are thought to be the remains of court jesters put to death for telling bad jokes. Some other tales describe them as being the court jesters of Orcus, Demon Prince of the Undead. They are intelligent creatures and delight in entertaining the living with their morbid sense of humor.
