Appearing to be some form of spider, or similar to the extraplanar creature known as the retriever, this creature is actually the result of some ancient magical experiment. They are actually obsidian golems, in the shape of spiders, which sit motionless as long as the objects they guard are untouched. A stolen itrm though is pursued with single minded behaviour.
