When hundreds of people die suddenly and unexpectedly their passing can leave a mark upon the world. Traces of their memories, desires, and unfulfilled dreams can touch the minds of people who live in the affected area. A child which is born with a strong bond to these memories is called a memelith, a being haunted by these poltergeist-like memories. This inherited template can be added to any living humanoid.
