On their own, these are week and harmless creatures, but in the hands of a wizard they become more dangerous. They look somewhat like spiders whose main body is an unblinking eye. They bond with a wizard's flesh, melding with the back of one of the wizard's hands. Various symbiotes grant various benefits.
