Haunts are bodiless elemental spirits that can be minute pests or benevolent advisors. They cannot live for long unless they are occupying some amount of a specified element. Flue Blight are malevolent creatures that haunt fireplaces, stoves, and hearths. They delight in making pots too hot, burning hands that come too near their dwelling and so forth.
