Mighty tree-like creatures with gigantic root-like legs and bark skinned arms. They are intelligent guardians and lorekeepers allied with the night elves. In times of peace they are teachers to druids. Ancients are divided into three groups: the Lore who are keepers of wisdom, the War who are spirits fo courage and determination, and the Wind who guard the nesting grounds of hippogryphs.
