The Others are human in appearance, but tall, gaunt, and hard, with skin the color of milk, pale azure blood, and eyes that burn a deep, inhuman blue. They wear armor that shifts colors as they move, from black to blue, making them difficult to watch. Their language sounds like ice cracking and their sword blades resemble thing crystal lit with blue light. They are merciless creatures of cold, who leave no footprint in the show and whose mere presence can unnerve a trained horse.
