A lichen that infects recently dead bodies. It has three life stages: Incubation where the fungus is difficult to detect; exhibiting stage in which tendrils become visible and attack when disturbed; and a mobile stage in which the host body becomes mobile with a faux nervous system, like a zombie in its movement.
