Cunning predators, originally a gift from the deity Thrym to his frost giant worshipers. Some serve these giants as fearsome steeds. They resemble enormous wolfhounds covered with spikes of icy stone which superficially resembles "fur." A Thrym hound can freeze a creature to death with its stare and careless predators who attack one often suffer only to harm themselves upon its spiky carapace.
