It's hard to say what the spawn of marbas looked like before they came to the Soaking Canyon of Malignancy. Some say they were a planar breed of horse, others a type of hunting dog. Marbas brought thousands of these creatures to his realms and released the power of chaos upon them, transforming each into his spawn.
