Creatures made form humanoids (typically humans). The best known mummies are those derived from ancient Egypt, but other stypes come from many other parts of the world: bog-burials in Europe, sand-burials in Peru, ice-burials at high latitudes and so forth. This template can be added to any humanoid creature.
