Charged with testing and tempting the seemingly righteous and occasionally destroying hypocrites. He leads a cadre of ingernal creatures who are allowed to bedevil mortals under his supervision, putting obstacles int he way of clerics and aiding the enemies of his lord's worshippers in order to allow them the opportunity to violate tehir religious tenants. He appears as a large, forbidding, hostile-looking man with black wings and robes, though he rarely shows this form to mortals.
