This includes everything from bulls and cows to bisons and water buffalo. They can be very aggressive when protecting young and during mating season. A typical herd animal stands 5 to 6 feet at the shoulders, measures 7 to 12 feet long, and weights 1,500 to 2,400 pounds. A herd consists of five or more creatures of the same kind.
