Creatures capable of adapting to the chaotic and violent environment of the Abyss become corrupted by it. They retain their physical appearange, but some demonic features, such as red eyes, scaly skin or the oder of brimstone, reveals their nature. Creatures corrupted by the Abyss become more powerful, durable, and dangerous while they reside within the Abyss. This inherited/acquired template can be added to any corporeal creature.
