A human rogue who suffers from lycanthropy, a disease he contracted as “payment” in part for his services to the evil merchant Prince Nafisah. Kettle avoids his former employer by all means and never mentions his past, fearing the blood ties which she might command over him. He is the owner of the Houndstooth Inn in Hana. He is a burly man, once handsome, but now stoic and older, with a short and curly beard covering the bottom of his face. He is a native of Hana. He is a member of the Iron Hand, a resistance group that acts to help the poor and passively resist the rule of the merchant princes.
