Lan is a golden haired and very zealous postulant of Arden. It is his belief that most people do not take their worship of the gods seriously enough and that the consequenses for it are dire. Lan is a postulant, under the supervision of Ullena, the high priestess of Arden in the city of Mendenton. Therod and his company met Lan while investigating the matter of zombies appearing in the middle of Mendenton's streets. Lan, wishing to keep the adventurer's out of the church's investigation into the matter, treated them quite rudely and asked them to mind their own business.
