Cleansing Flame Rageon was once a powerful archmage, but at the moment he was to transfer his life into a vessal and achieve lichdom, he was defeated by a group of adventurers and imprisoned in his prepared phylactory - a great white pillar covered in runes.
Many hundreds of years later, Rageon pursueded Gorog, son of Gorog, son of Gog of the Sea Giants, to send his minions forth and steal the twelve urns in which the ashes of twelve mighty orcish warrior shamen were kept. This having been done, roused the spirit of Korog which later inspired the orcish warlords of present times to make war upon the low lands.
Before Rageon could draw enough power from the urns to escape his prison entirely, members of the Cleansing Flame entered his lair, slew his still forming spirit, and took the urns of the twelve warriors. << BACK
