Sabaten was once a most pious and fervent priest of Lathidus, some might even say he was annoyingly zealous. Even when he lost his faith and powers, he still spent a great deal of time in prayer.
    Over time, not recovering his powers, Sabaten fell to the will of Halat-Shar, who dominated him and through him committed a serious of atrocities in the stronghold of the Cleansing Flame while its leadership was in absence, leaving Sabaten quite insane.
