Daglan: Part 4 - Battle Plans

Here's how he do it, friends.

After Theo wakes up, we wait for him to heal us all and charge up to his maximum.
At pre-dawn, he opens a portal to the clearing outside Tel-Akbar for me (and only me) to step through with a black stone ring on.
I get into the city, get a hotel room, disguise myself, shimmy out the window and head to the temple of the Arm of Justice.
I talk to Saul at the temple and tell him of the fate of Lord Commander Serig and make our case to get holy warriors of the order to aid us in our plan. Including going over details listed later on in this document.
Assuming Saul is able to comply, I lead the warriors that come with me back to the clearing at dusk that day. Theo opens a portal at the pre-arranged time and we go back to the temple.
Theo portals the warriors to the clearing to the east of Lord Kartekast's manor where we tested the pyramid. And we set up the pyramid, leaving the control piece at the bottom of the pool at the temple covered in stones.
With all in readiness, Theo contacts Sarusar and maintains a thought-pool spell with him. Sarusar has two jobs in the assault. One, to draw Daglan to the top of the tower one more time and, two, to imprison the necromancer when he's separated from Serig's body. Theo casts fly on Bolas.
As soon as Sarusar gets Daglan to the top of the tower, Bolas and Sanjian back up Marcus as he attempts to grapple with Daglan. We'll coat his hands with soot so that the black stone ring will be much harder to see to afford the biggest element of surprise.
As Marcus slams into Daglan (with the aid of our two prow warriors), Theo will open a portal in the path of where our trio will be pressing Daglan. The other end of the portal will open directly above the pyramid that is surrounded by the holy warriors of Lathidus.
Now, normally Marcus and Sanjian would fall and have their spirits sucked into the pyramid with Daglan and/or Serig, but Bolas will hold them as Marcus slams Daglan into the pyramid.
The best that we can hope for is that Serig's spirit is sucked into the pyramid and that leaves Daglan in the body of Serig. With that much done, we can lower the body to the ground and begin to beat on it. The key to success is to make sure that Daglan is too busy to struggle too much with Marcus. If Marcus can lock him up and keep contact with the ring to Daglan that does us a lot.
That ring on Daglan will help us three-fold. One, it negates all of his maintained spells - as Theo would call them. Two, it stops his spell-casting and allows me enough time to nail him with the dagger of wounding that will put him in too much pain to cast as well. Three (most importantly) it should -- speculation only -- negate his ability to stick to his tower (i.e. run down the side of the tower) so that we can push him through the portal as stated in step 10.
If this doesn't work, it was a pleasure working with you all and I hope that we meet again in the afterlife.
