Maps of the House of Dodokilno

Here is the order we traveled through the House of Dodokilno.

(1) This is the entry hall. Most of the slewn goblins are in here.

(2) This is the library where we found the three books concerning mathimatics and magic. As well as where Quinn found the piece of paper that said, ".....beyond skeletons..."

(3) This was a study and had a desk in it where a vial of clear liquid was found by Balan behind the desk's center drawer.

(4) This is the "screaming room." Where most of us fled when a booming voice was heard from all directions that threatened of death.

(5) This room was empty but for mushrooms and a fireplace where Gerom found the pouch with the Amethyst.

(6) In this room there was nothing of interest other than a large amount of ceiling plaster on the floor.

(7) This is where we encountered the giant rats. It looked like it use to be a living room.

(8) This was a sitting room. There were some ruined, stuffed chairs. This is where the spider lept out from the chiminey to attack Gerom - who killed it quickly. Balan found a small metal box hidden in the bricks of the chiminey in here.

(9) This was the kitchen where we fought the giant centipedes. We hid in here when the goblins entered the house.

(10) This room had a stair descending to the cellar. We didn't explore much in here because the goblins showed up.

Second Floor

(11) Locked room where we encountered Mirenn, an elfin maiden who was tied up and had been left there by the goblins we encountered earlier.

(12) An empty room with a rotted and dangerous looking floor.

(13) This room was filled with spider webs and when Alex entered he was attacked by two large spiders. He and Foline were poisoned by the spiders. There was a large, fist-sized chuck of clear, transparent stone sitting on the fireplace mantle in this room.

(14) This was a master-bedroom. In here was a cabinate which held a cloak. When the cloak was dirturbed, Alex and Foline inhaled some of the cloud of mold that erupted. When Quinn was left alone in this room while we explored room (15) he was killed. There were claw marks found on the window sill of this room.

(15) This was a guest bedroom and there was a rotting bed. While we were in here Quinn was killed in room (14).

(16) This is a bedroom. In here was a chest by the window, it was filled with nothing but clothing.

(17) This room had some broken furniture and another chest. Nothing else of interest was in here.

(18) This is where Foline fled to when discovering Quinn's body in room (14). There is a stairway going down to the kitchen and a broken stairway going up to the attic.

(19) Not shown on the maps. This was the attic. The attic is T-shaped and was only partially explored.

The Basement

(20) In this room was some broken wine casks along the west wall, empty vats along the east, and a fireplace to the south. We found Rupart's body in here, a warrior known by Ullena and Sir Nossant. He had been missing for a few weeks. It was here that Gerom retreated to from the skeleton fight that started in room (21). There was a secretly loose brick in the fireplace that opened the secret door to area (21).

(21) This well torch lit area had some beds (as indicated), lockers with clothes in them, and a table (as indicated) with chairs around it. The door exiting north from the east end of the room was locked and couldn't be picked. The door exiting east from the east end of the room was barred, but we opened it and let the skeletons out from area (22). It was in here that Mirenn backstabbed Alex and nearly killed him. The stairs led up to the "screaming room" through a secret door in the ceiling (room 4).

(22) Six skeletons awoke when we entered this room and attacked us, forcing a retreat to room (20). There was nothing in this room of interest when searched by Balan. Later the party returned here and discovered a secret passage to 22b, the dead alchemists laboratory.

(22b) The alchemists laboratory. This room held several items of gold and some other treasure. The skeleton of the long dead alchemist was here too.

(23) This appeared to be some leader's room. Within we found numerous items, including a piece of parchment with interesting writing on it, a waterproof cloak, a book of sea tides, an illustrated book of erotic poetry, and a shuttered lantern.

The Caverns

(24)This was an empty room which Gerom entered while the rest of the party went down the left hand passage. There were no lit tourches in this room, but more could be seen on the far exit ('south', leading to room 29).

(25) The main passage of the caverns was wet and slippery. Someone had put down crude reed mats to keep the footing easier.

(26) In this room we found several bolts of fine while silk and several casks of good brandy. There was nothing else in here.

(27) In here there were signs that until recently there had been crates stored here, but they had been moved and only dry squares of ground indicated their once presence.

(28) This was where we had a large confrontation with the inhabitants of the house. By the boat there was a barricade of crates from which they assaulted us with crossbows. There were also three dog-faced, coarse haired humanoids who did battle with us here. This is where we found Dev'Mith and Gurney.

(29) This chamber held nothing of interest.
