When a spirit is unable to leave its body upon death, it becomes known as a Fell creature. A Maelgral is created when a Faengral fails to feed for thirty days. These creatures have lost all but the last vestiges of their former intelligence and personalities. They are in many ways indistinguishable from zombies but for their vicious cunning. This templace can be added to any corporeal creature with an Intelligence score of 5 or more, other than an undead.
