Mind flayers of Thoon are those which traveled into the Far Realm and were changed by their experiences there. Now returned, they live a twisted existence different from other mind flayers. Stormclouds resemble floating eggs with an array of tentacles hanging from their underside, often clutching blades. These intelligent constructs are birthed by madcrafters to serve as floating sentinels.
