A young and brilliant priest of Arden. Piusus is outspoken, understands the needs of the poor, and does not hesitate to intervene on their behalf at any opportunity he sees. Piusus wears his straw white hair evenly cut around his homely face. He is obviously not a local of Hana; he was sent there as a linguist from the Church of Arden in the United Kingdoms.
    Piusus is responsible for helping teach Maximilian to defend himself, what parts of town to be careful traveling in, and so forth. Piusus nurtured Maximilian back to health after a street attack left him nearly dead. He is a moral tutor and a respected authority of minor standing within this diocese of the church.
