Oracle Answer for Al-Rathis
"In a manner of speaking suitable to a simple and honest dwarf such as myself, yet related to that mish-mush of words our bard
Ayoi tried to descirbe to us about some soul forging or somesuch,
what would be the best steps to take to defeat the fiend and our greatest enemy Titalus in the time and place we call home?"
And thus spoke the Oracle:
“To defeat Titalus one must do three things.
“First you must find a being who possesses a special power. They must impart this power to you without
your asking for it and they must do so in return for a service which you did for them. There are many different kinds of these special
powers, they are the leavings from the time of creation and they are coveted by powerful beings such as those that you call gods. Any
can receive these powers; gaining these gifts changes the nature of your spirit in a different way. The gift you seek is called Annos, once
known as the “Divine Touch”. Annos is a clarity of being and awareness. With it, one can see many things about an object or creature with
but touch. The being you call Ayoi can see when another being possesses these special powers. She will lead you to them. Once you have
possessed the gift called Annos, your spirit will be fit to defeat Titalus in the spiritual sense.
“Second, you must craft a weapon which can harm Titalus in the physical sense. Such a weapon can
be created in few places. Powerful beings of belief fear such weapons because of the danger they represent , and they will seek to
stop you if they are able. Travel to the barren lands of the Clainborough, at the circle of ten points. There, one can forge such a
weapon. Should you return to your time, seek out the Lost Disciples, the Wraith of Leah, or a Son of Khan, they too know the secrets
of such craft. These are the only two ways that one with your means can accomplish such a deed.
“Third, you must travel to the sanctum of Titalus and do battle against it there. This will require
great skill for Titalus will also possess special powers, such as Annos. To succeed you must train well and restrict Titalus’ access
to the powers of belief that it will possess in your native time or, failing that, you must train ever better.”
